This moody, single movement work calls for a quartet of soprano, alto, tenor and baritone saxophones. The passacaglia ostinato appears first in the baritone sax, then works its way through all the instruments. It is dedicated to the memory of The Ohio State University School of Music's beloved theory professor Dr. Burdette Green (1921 - 2017).
